We bought the Nexus NXstart pack 3 last year from Defender on closeout. It has been great. The wireless wind system is both digital and analog it the best.
They are on closeout because Garmin has bought out the Sweedish Nexus instrument company last year. Defender no longer carries Garmin products. The speed/depth/ temp. triducer is made by Airmar in USA.

Those boats that a Warner velvet drive transmission had a prop lock installed. The Warner transmission should not free wheel as there is no lubrication when the engine is not runnning.
The original Proplock was hydraulicly deactivated by transmission oil pressure. This has worked fine. However the company that made it is very long out business.
I have been able to fabricate my own break pads as the old ones wore out. Recently the bronze casting began to fail. I installed a reconditioned feathering Max Prop to avoid free wheeling. It has worked.

Pardon my tardy reply. Rather than worry about cockpit drain size. You should not cockpit hatches do close cockpit from the hull interior – there is a triangular gap at either end of each seat hatch.
My solution is plywood covers which can be screwed down to the hatch lip in threating seas. They are stored in the underside of the hatch covers.
