So sorry for your loss. I’ve had my “old girl” for 27 years and can’t imagine losing her.

I’d be interested in a number of parts maybe the whole engine.

Hello, this is Dennis, Flyingmare #22. Do you still have parts for the w-58? My engine is solid and an integral part of the electrical, water and refrigeration systems. I intend to keep it.

I have a RV-20 that I replaced last year. It’s always been in fresh water. It has a slight leak in

the rear seal. Runs quiet, water flow and lubrication are normal. I can’t guarantee it but

it was working fine when I took it out to replace the fuel tank. I replaced the trans also but it was

good and worn. I would be willing to sell the V-drive for $500 plus shipping.

I use a large starting battery like yours and 4 trojan 6 volt batteries with a a large 130 amp alternator and have not “ plugged in” in years.

Ive taken mine down for about twenty seasons but I’m not sure. I think it has to do with the center of gravity in the slings.

I’m out sailing in the north channel and Georgian bay. Think of what the old v-drive is worth. Maybe a couple hundred bucks. I won’t be able to do any thing until I get back in October.

I Have an RV-20 that I just took out of Flying Mare, It’s always been in fresh water and was functioning fine with a tiny rear seal leak. Instead of rebuilding it I put in an RV-26. I’d be glad to sell it for a fair price.

I pulled out my old fuel tank after cutting the top off with a saws all. Mine was heavy enough to need two sets of hands (rusted steel). Had to cut it from the lazarettes.Dennis HomeFlyingmare #22Yours for a better world

Have you tried http://www.thornycroftengines.co.uk in England. I was able to buy a
crankshaft pulley for my 1978 Westerbeke.
