    Hi Rich,

Not Narragansett Bay – actually Point Judith, up the crick a bit. I was
wondering about it – I’m planning to go to it.

Tor posted a rather long and informative piece about how he upgraded his
fridge. Search the forum, or maybe he’ll chime in with the location.

It also depends if you have an ‘L’ or ‘U’ galley layout on the size of the
    box.

That could be, but Yahoo has had security problems (hence their desire to
have you upgrade your account now to the ‘more secure’ version of their
email.) Since Paul uses his Yahoo account, that could have been compromised
    without affecting his machine.

Sadly, because the sender and the envelope on emails don’t have to match
(some email programs don’t even check for that), anyone could send an email
to anyone else and have it look like it came from a third party.

I know my Gmail account was hacked once (fortunately, Google helped fix
that) and now it’s all good until someone hacks Google again…

My personal opinion is that spammers and hackers should die. And not
quickly or cleanly. With great pain, extended time, and hopefully including
flaying. If a spammer wastes 2 seconds of my time, then he potentially
wastes 140 million seconds of humanity’s time, or potentially 4.43
man-years. assuming an average of 10 spam mails a day, an entire life can be
wasted every two days (and I don’t know anyone that only gets 10 spams a
day). Hackers are far worse. They waste everyone’s time.

    I’m just sayin’ here.

A shunt for 120 vac is much smaller than one for 12 vdc for the same power –
remember at 120vac, 20 amps becomes 12vdc almost 200 amps forgetting rms and
power factors. You can see why the different sizes…

No matter what is original, use acrylic. It’s less expensive, it’s almost
as strong, and it has better uv resistance. I went with 3/8″ or double
installed thickness, beveled edges, bedded with Dow Corning 794.

Moving the stops would put the autopilot in danger and would just make flow
disattach sooner with no gain in control. I thought about that first as it’s
    the easiest thing to do.

Speaking of rudders, when I take Pelican out next, I’m thinking of extending
the rudder about 3-4″ aft. Anyone do that or see any reason not to do it?
It may make steering astern and at slow speed much more sensitive.
