It’s an axle pin. ZephyrWerks will make them for you in stainless,
silicon bronze or titanium.. and ZephyrWerks is in your neck of the

Hey Tor, I worked on the Email server at Microsoft for years and might be
able to help figure this out. Do this:

    1) Create a new message in outlook
    2) Drag and Drop one of your messages with the .txt attachment into the new
message. Now you have the sample message as an attachment in your new
    message.
    3) Send that message to my other email account (I have my
own exchange server and use Outlook with that)

I’ll take a look at the message and attachment and see if I can figure it
    out.

    Pat,

I use MS Outlook to download email. As of Monday morning, most (but not all)
forum emails are still arriving with a .txt attachment, but since your email
message below the attachments are now all blank, i.e., there is no text in
them as there was before. Same problem with knowing when a “real” attachment
is included with the message, though.

Anyway, if I’m the only one getting them and they’re an unavoidable part of
the program, then it’s just karma. I appreciate that you looked into it.

If anyone attaches anything to an email to this group, like a photo or
whatever, please consider writing “see attached photo” somewhere in your
    email.

    Thanks,

I’ll be home tomorrow (been gone since you wrote me ) and I’ll take
care of it then. Would you like to get messages in a digest mode (one

I’ve owned the Sailrite Long Arm and now own the Blue one. I have loved
them both. The Long Arm was too heavy for me to move on and off the
boat by myself. Sold the Long Arm to buy the Little Blue one. I, too,
believe that the SailRite support is worth something.

Switched to the Little Blue when I had to swap out the glass in our
dodger after hail damage. The walking foot has been really nice.

No I’m not interested in selling this one although I will check with my
friend who has one she is not using

    James,
No experience with the lz-1, I’ve owned a SailRite Yachtsman (AKA
Reeds) for about 15 years. I’ve had it on board since 2003. Used it
to match hatch awnings and port light curtains this summer. Really
needed those hatch awnings for the summer in NC.
The lz-1 I believe is a SailRite customized standard walking foot
machine (Thompson?). You can sometimes find them on eBay or even
Harbor Freight was about 25% or more below the SailRite price. Of
course then you don’t get SailRite support, which for me is worth the
extra money. I would like to have the walking foot feature, but this
    machine won die.

i was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the sailrite
sewing machines? the lz-1, the blue one. i have done a fair amount
of sewing work on other boats and wanting to buck up and get a
    good machine.

And i thought that i would ask if anyone has a sailrite hanging in
the closet that they are not using??? projects include uv cover
for the head sail, stack pack – maybe, winch and barby covers etc.
    shade covers – need shade…

    Would this work for everyone??
