I say, lets meet at 2 pm – on the roof top bar above Pussers as John suggested.
or across the street at Pit Beef – by the church across from the Hotel.

We have to wear some identafiable clothing or hat – and /or exchange cell numbers.

Almost all the hotels anywhere near Annapolis have a 3 night minimum stay. I ‘ve always had good luck staying in Glen Bernie. There’s a holiday inn there, cheap (more money to spend at boat show), no minimum nights stay and it’s only about 30 minute drive to Annapolis.

    Hey Jack,
Do you have pictures of your arrangement?
Were you up in the Islands 2 weeks ago? A friend of mine thought he saw another 424 passing by Camelot.

I just repacked my rudder post this summer, so it should be awhile before I need to address that again. My thought was to moved the generator, either out or over if I need any serious work down there…. I am small guy anyhow – not as agile as I used to be but…..

I was going to glass in a couple of pieces of 3/4 in marine plywood using some 1708 Biaxle cloth. Make sort of an “H” shape. The ends or top of the “H” depending on how you look at it, will attach to and be bonded to the transom. A couple of pieces of 2 inch alumminum angle through bolted to the stringers for the mounts.
Finished, the engine will around 125 lbs….. should offset ( a little) the 300 feet of chain I have at the other end.
    thoughts?

You should have told me that when I was aboard your boat in Deltaville….
Do you have any pictures of that setup….

Tor, I have thought about that and about to continue undeterred.

No, I was hoping you had. I am also way behind… and I am planning on heading South this September and have a worklist longer than my arm. Switching insurance companies so I need a survey. That should add a few more items.

Did you find a procedure for this? Copy?

FWIW I have the Foldaway made by this company. A little pricey, but it’s very well built and works well.

It broke right where the little line comes out of the injector. Right on the joint where it was welded.
I must have stepped on it while I ran to get my cell phone on Friday. I was putting on the sound proofing tiles. Didn’t notice it till I was underway.
I used “atomic repair tape” to patch up. Worked long enough to get a good sail in yesterday and motor into the dock.

Lee, Could you please take some pictures of your Genie in the aft Laz? I am starting to layout the mounts for mine and could use a few hints. Did you do the install?

    Tor,
I like that idea. I just replaced my foot pump cause the old one leaking. It draws a lot of water. I could add a Y valve in there easy enough. Just need to make sure than no screwups can occur by some unsuspecting crew and end up with salt water in my fresh water tanks.
